SPARK KOREO
is an intensive exploration that immerses dancers in
the art of the contemporary choreographic process.
Under the direction of renowned faculty, dancers
learn methodologies for building a movement vocabulary, investigate the architecture of composition, find their choreographic voice in movement utilizing elements of space, time, levels and design; and develop choreographic skills while learning about the larger context of contemporary dance.
A choreographic work created by SPARK KOREO will be premiered
at the SPARK KOREO SHOW on the last evening of the intensive.
This special opportunity is limited to 25 dancers ages 15 and older
as an “add-on” to SPARK Summer Dance Intensive for $130.00.
